Ian Derungs, who put up 70 points (43 goals) in 61 games for HC Thurgau last season, moves to the National League, where he has signed a one-year contract with HC Ajoie.
"Ian Derungs has a very good sense of the game and has the instinct of a scorer with an excellent shot," Ajoie's team manager Julien Vauclair says about his new acquisition. "He is an excellent reinforcement and provides us with depth in our offensive department."
Over the course of his still young career, the 22-year-old brings an experience of more than 150 Swiss League games to Ajoie. He has also appeared in ten games for EHC Kloten in the National League during the 2017-18 season (one goal, one assist).
