With four imports under contract for the upcoming season, the SCL Tigers had two more spots available to foreigners. One of those has now been filled with the acquisition of Garrett Roe. The 35-year-old US-American forward spent the last four seasons with the ZSC Lions.
Roe is expected to bring speed to the Tigers' game and be an example: "Garrett is an excellent skater and brings a lot of speed to our game. His responsible play and work ethic are exemplary and important factors in our game" reads the press statement.
Last season, Roe suited up 34 times with the Lions, scoring five goals and collecting eleven assists. Over the course of six championships in the National League, Roe recorded 232 points in 263 games winning the Swiss Cup with Zug in 2018-19.
