From the Ajoie to the Emmental - Arno Nussbaumer to become a Tiger

Arno Nussbaumer, who is in his second and final year with HC Ajoie, has signed a two-year contract with the SCL Tigers. The team manager of the Tigers, Pascal Müller, sees a lot of potential in the young defender, a product of EV Zug's organization: "With his excellent understanding of the game, his skating ability, and his smart playing style, Nussbaumer is a perfect fit for us. He is a complete defenseman who will bring additional stability to our defense and can take the next step in his career with us.”

During the past season, Nussbaumer set career highs in goals and assists, with five each. In four games so far this season, he has yet to get his first point but has the best +/- balance on the team, with -1.
