The 28-year-old forward had signed a three-year contract with SC Bern. The deal includes an option for an additional season.
Marc Marchon will thus play one last season with EHC Kloten before he joins the Bears in 2024. Marchon is a product of EV Zug's organization and was part of them until the end of the 2016-17 season.
In 2017, he signed with Kloten and has been with the team ever since. Last season, the forward recorded eleven goals and eleven assists in 44 regular-season games.
