Future of GSHC's head coach Jan Cadieux still undecided

Jan Cadieux's contract with Genève-Servette HC expires this season, and no decision about the future has been made yet. Team manager Marc Gautschi wants to wait and assess the team's progress before making a call. "We've started the season with a run of eight away games (of which three still to go), and we've also got injuries. Under these conditions, it's harder to form a good opinion" states Gautschi. While he wishes to continue with Cadieux, formal discussions have yet to happen.

For his part, Cadieux remains calm and focused. Happy in Geneva but open to international opportunities, he emphasizes his passion and hard work, having even attended a development camp with the Montreal Canadiens this summer: ”I'm an inquisitive coach who's always keen to learn and, above all, to go as far as possible in his career" Cadieux tells the "Tribune de Genève". It remains to be seen whether that will be in Geneva or elsewhere.
