After an in-depth analysis of the past season, EV Zug has opted to terminate the relationship with Gabriel Carlsson, who still had one year left in his contract with the Bulls. Carlsson has already found his next employer in Färjestad BK, which signed him to a three-year contract. With this outgoing transaction, Zug now has seven imports under contract, including two Swedish defenders.
In 43 games with Zug this past season, Carlsson collected eleven points, the least among all the imports on the team. The season before, he had recorded almost 30 points with the Växjö Lakers.
