Genève-Servette HC extends contract of Robert Mayer

The 34-year-old goaltender has agreed to a three-year deal and will stay with the Grenats until the end of the 2026-27 season.

"I'm delighted to be able to continue our fruitful collaboration with Robert. His ability to be at the top of his game in important moments has been confirmed over the last few years," Marc Gautschi, team manager of Genève-Servette HC, said. 

Gauthier Descloux and Robert Mayer will thus serve as GSHC's goaltending duo for the 2024-25 season. Mayer appeared in 22 regular-season games for the Grenats this past season, posting a .869 save percentage.
