The 28-year-old defenseman has agreed to a three-year contract extension, valid until the end of the 2024-25 season.
"Mike is one of GSHC's most consistent defenders. He has also become one of the pillars of the team," Marc Gautschi, team manager of Genève-Servette HC states. "Mike still has a lot of potential to show us."
Völlmin has been part of the Grenats' organization since 2018. This season, he has appeared in 29 games for them, recording four assists. On average, he has been on the ice for 13:00 minutes per game.
