Gerd Zenhäusern was one of 15 candidates HC Fribourg-Gottéron's board looked at. Zenhäsuern has been with the Dragons since the 2014-15 season in various capacities.
The current assistant team manager will thus be Christian Dubé's superior as of next March. Something that will not cause any problems, Zenhäusern tells the "Freiburger Nachrichten": "That's not a problem, at least for me. (laughs) We've discussed it. Christian told me that he would support me if it was my wish to take over his position. We knew that we could have reversed roles pretty quickly."
