GSHC announces assistant coaches

"We are thrilled to have found in Christer and Marco the perfect assistants for our club and for Sam. It was important to us that they have a deep understanding of Swiss hockey and that they have previously served as head coaches, so that we can best distribute responsibilities within the coaching staff," Marc Gautschi, team manager of the Grenats, said.

Olsson was part of Färjestad BK's staff last season and was reportedly also courted by HC Fribourg-Gottéron. He returns to Switzerland after one season in Sweden.

Marco Bayer served as head coach for the ZSC Lions since December 2024 and was let go by the Lions at the end of April 2026.
