The most prestigious award - the National League's Most Valuable Player (MVP) - was awarded to Genève-Servette HC's Swedish defenseman Henrik Tömmernes. He received eleven votes, one more than Roman Cervenka from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
Whereas Henrik Tömmernes was also elected by a wide margin as the league's best defenseman of the season, Roman Cervenka received the award as the best forward.
The election for the best goaltender was very close and ended with a tie between Leonardo Genoni (EV Zug) and Reto Berra (HC Fribourg-Gottéron), who both received nine votes. Close behind followed Sandro Aeschlimann (HC Davos) with eight votes.
