The captain has extended his contract by one year, now valid until the spring of 2026

Harri Pesonen is playing his sixth season with the SCL Tigers, and with the extension signed, there will be a seventh. The forward possesses a lot of experience. In addition to his ten National League seasons, he is regularly called up for the Finnish national team. With the Leijonat he won gold medals at the Olympics and World Championships.

Pesonen, the team's captain for the third straight year on what it means to him: "Being the captain for the SCL Tigers means a lot to me. It is a big responsibility that drives me personally to work every day for our common goals."

This year the 36-year-old has accounted for six goals and three assists in 19 games.
