A few months ahead of the start of the 2024-25 season, HC Ajoie gives an update on the status of their roster by bidding farewell to eleven players. As known, Alain Birbaum hangs up his skates and joins the junior organization of the Ajoulots. Gregory Sciaroni, too, is officially retired. At the moment, it is not clear whether he will also join Ajoie as a coach as rumored.
The four Swiss players leaving Porrentruy for other clubs are Ueli Huber (?), Steven Macquat (?), Tim Wolf (EV Zug), and Jesse Zgraggen (rumored to HC Ambrì-Piotta). Concerning the import players, HC Ajoie will not be giving new contracts to Guillaume Asselin (EHC Olten), Daniel Audette (?), Frédérik Gauthier (?), Éric Gélinas (?) and Dmytro Timashov (?).
