HC Ajoie confirms addition of Bern's Marco Maurer

As "Watson"'s Klaus Zaugg already reported back in April, Marco Maurer is going to suit up for HC Ajoie this coming season. His new club announced the defenseman's arrival today.

"Marco Maurer is a solid defender who brings a wealth of experience to the locker room and the ice", team manager Julien Vauclair states. "He will strengthen our defense and contribute to the development of our young players."

Throughout his career, the 36-year-old has played for EV Zug, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, the ZSC Lions, HC Lugano, EHC Biel, Genève-Servette HC, and most recently SC Bern (since early January).
