HC Ajoie plans on having four goalies also next season

Despite already having two goalies on their payroll for the 2026-27 season, HC Ajoie's team manager, Julien Vauclair, believes that they need more: "We know the situation. And we've seen it recently with injuries in this area. We don't have any elite U21s or partner teams. We'll still need four goalies under contract next season. That's the plan," he tells Le Quotidien Jurassien (news relayed by "SwissHabs").

The doors of the Raiffeisen Arena in Porrentruy are thus not closed for Benjamin Conz and Damiano Ciaccio yet. The two veteran goalies are both on expiring contracts. For this season, HC Ajoie actually also has a fifth goalie on the roster, youngster Kilian Bernasconi, who, however, has only suited up for a few games for HC Franches-Montagnes in the MyHockey League.
