Arrived in Switzerland at the beginning of the past season with a two-year contract in his pocket, Manix Landry needed just one season to convince HC Ambrì-Piotta of his qualities thus receiving an offer for an early contract extension. The center is a Canadian and U.S. citizen but holds a Swiss player's license as he spent part of his junior years in Switzerland when his father Éric was playing there.
During the past season, his first as a professional hockey player, Landry scored eight goals in 52 games and also participated in the Spengler Cup with the Biancoblù.
