The 22-year-old defenseman had been loaned to the Vienna Capitals at the end of last month.
The loan was originally supposed to last until the end of January. However, HC Ambrì-Piotta is allowed to recall him if the need was to arise. As the Biancoblù's injury list is getting longer, the team has decided to bring him back.
Kilian Zündel will be available to the team as of tomorrow. In six games for the Capitals, the defender has recorded two assists.
