From 2017 to 2022, Dylan Stanley started working as Skills Coach and as Director of Player Development in the organization of VEU Feldkirch (Austria) while playing his last seasons as a professional hockey player. After retiring in 2022, he joined another Austrian team, the Pioneers Vorarlberg, first as assistant coach and then as head coach.
For his part, Klas Östman has last been the head coach of Linköping HC in the SHL until he was fired after three and a half years on December 20, 2024. Before joining Linköping HC, Östman worked for two seasons as assistant coach with EV Zug, side by side with Josh Holden. In Davos, he will be responsible for the defense.
Both Stanley and Östman signed a two-year contract. Additionally, HC Davos also announced the extension of goalie coach Markus Ketterer.
