HC Davos and HC Fribourg-Gottéron to face each other in the playoff final

The first and second-placed teams of the regular season will battle it out for the National League title.

Both HC Davos and HC Fribourg-Gottéron went into tonight's Game 5 of the playoff semifinals with a 3-1 lead. Both teams managed to end their respective series thanks to a win tonight. 

HC Fribourg-Gottéron won their game against Genève-Servette HC 6-2. HC Davos had to go to extra lengths to beat the ZSC Lions. Tied after three periods, HCD won it all in overtime thanks to a goal by Brendan Lemieux.
