Michael Joly and HC Lugano have found an agreement for a two-year contract extension. Additionally, the deal includes an option for a third season. Arrived from the Liiga for the current season, Joly has quickly become an offensive threat for the other teams of the National League.
Hnat Domenichelli, team manager of HC Lugano believes in the qualities of the 28-year-old Canadian: "Michael is a player with outstanding offensive qualities who will play an important role in the Lugano of the future. We are very happy to have found an agreement with him for the coming seasons."
So far this season, Joly scored 12 goals and collected 16 assists in 28 games for the Bianconeri. On average, he shoots 3.43 times on goal per game (eighth most in the league), of which 2.64 come from the slot (highest in the league).
