Philippe Maillet has agreed to a one-year contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta. Jesse Virtanen, for his part, has decided to sign a long-term deal with the Biancoblù.

Philippe Maillet played for Laval Rocket last season. Before that, he played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL. The 31-year-old Canadian forward recorded 21 goals and 32 assists in 67 AHL games last season.
As for Jesse Virtanen, the 32-year-old defenseman has agreed to stay with HCAP until the end of the 2027-28 season. The Finn will play his third season with the Biancoblù this autumn. Last season, he recorded 13 goals and 17 assists in 51 games.
