After over a decade, HC Fribourg-Gottéron will now be captained by someone other than Julien Sprunger, who has retired from professional hockey.

Andrea Glauser succeeds Sprunger, who had been the Dragons captain since the 20214-15 season. The defenseman is a product of HCFG's organization and also played his first pro games for the team before leaving the club to establish himself in the National League.
Last season, he returned to his junior team. He will now wear the "C" on his jersey. The defender will be supported by Jacob de la Rose, Sandro Schmid and Christoph Bertschy.
