HCFG confirms the departure of Andrei Bykov at the end of the season

After an entire career spent in the organization of HC Fribourg-Gottéron, 35-year-old forward Andrei Bykov will not receive an offer for a contract extension. Therefore, if he is to continue playing next year, he will have to look elsewhere.

To "Blick", Bykov revealed that the moment he received the communication from the club was tough: "The whole day before the match was very difficult. But I'm trying to face this moment as a professional sportsman, but humanly speaking, it was very hard. I'm lucky to have the support of the whole dressing room. They're all behind me and support me 100%."
