Marcus Sörensen, Jacob de la Rose, and Lucas Wallmark have all signed an early extension until 2027.

Already under contract until 2025, HC Fribourg-Gottéron decided to anticipate the negotiation of the contract of the three Swedish forwards, who thus signed an additional two-season extension valid until the end of the 2026-27 season.

"It is a great satisfaction to have extended the contracts with these three players. I am very proud that I was able to convince them of our sporting project" states Gerd Zenhäusern, current assistant team manager and future team manager of the Dragons.

This season, Marcus Sörensen scored 29 goals and collected 24 assists in 46 games. The 31-year-old thus leads the National League in goals and points. For his part, Lucas Wallmark recorded 41 points (18 goals) in 45 games, while Jacob de la Rose put up 16 goals and 15 points in 46 games.
