The 18-year-old defenseman has agreed to a three-year contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. His first contract as a professional hockey player is valid until 2028.

"Alessio Guignard is a talented young defender. He fits in with the club's plan to focus on developing young talent," team manager Gerd Zenhäusern said.
Alessio Guignard has been with the Dragons since the U17 level and is currently playing his second full season for their U20 team. This season, he has recorded six goals and six assists in 40 games.
