HCFG's Dave Sutter expected to sign with Genève-Servette HC

According to Grégory Beaud ("Blick"), Dave Sutter will join Genève-Servette HC for the 2025-26 season. Yet another Swiss defender on an expiring contract has thus already settled his future before the start of the 2024-25 season. For the 32-year-old it would be a return to his roots, as he had joined Geneva's youth department in 2007 and then debuted in the National League with the Grenats in the 2012-13 season. He has been in Fribourg since 2020.

As Beaud writes, Geneva could make good use of the experience and the physicality of the defender, who could fill up eventual free slots in GSHC's defense depending on whether the contracts of Arnaud Jacquemet and Mike Völlmin will be extended.
