"I don't look too far ahead. If you stay healthy, you logically want to keep playing. And at the moment I'm healthy and enjoying hockey [...]. I'll try to carry on like this and then see what happens next year," Diaz tells the "Freiburger Nachrichten".
He also adds, though, that at his age one always has to keep both options open, meaning in his case that another sort of job in the hockey business might also become an option: "We'll let the season continue for now. Then the discussions about whether to continue and how to continue will come."
Diaz has talked to Gerd Zenhäusern, team manager of the Dragons, already but only informally and about nothing concrete regarding his contractual situation.
The defenseman is currently in his fourth season with HCFG. In six games, he has recorded two assists.
