In September, Genève-Servette HC signed Henrik Haapala to a deal valid until October 24. As "Blick" writes, team manager Marc Gautschi has not yet decided whether to extend said deal or let him walk. In any case, the forward's agent has apparently offered him to other teams, which would point toward a departure.
Haapala's second stint in Switzerland - the first one came as a member of HC Lugano in the 2018-19 season - has seen him make nine appearances for the Grenats, recording three goals and seven assists.
On a side note, "Blick" also notes that Tyler Ennis, a former member of SC Bern, has been practicing with GSHC. He will not be signed, however, as Gautschi states.
