Jyväskylä - a city in central Finland, home to the Liiga's JYP and birthplace of Sami Vatanen. Currently employed by Genève-Servette HC, the defenseman might be returning there next season on a two-year deal, at least according to information shared by "Keskisuomalaisen", a Jyväskylä-based newspaper.

Vatanen spent his junior time with JYP and made his first steps in men's hockey with them. Drafted by the Anaheim Ducks, he headed overseas to join them in 2012. Nine years and 524 NHL games later, he joined Genève-Servette. His contract with the National League team is running out at the end of the current season. Country roads might take him home.
