After one season, halfway through his two-year contract with Lausanne HC, Janne Kuokkanen has decided to leave Switzerland to return to play for the Malmö Redhawks, whom he had left in 2024 to join Lausanne HC. "Away was good, but Malmö was the best! It feels great to be back with the Malmö Redhawks, and I'm looking forward to playing in front of the fans again," states the 27-year-old.

With the departure of Kuokkanen, Lausanne HC now has seven imports under contract for the upcoming season: two defenders (Sami Niku and Erik Brännström) and five forwards (Austin Czarnik, Ahti Oksanen, Dominik Kahun, Antti Suomela, and Lauri Pajuniemi).
