The contract of the 33-year-old Finnish forward will expire next spring.
"It would be my wish to stay in Biel, because I really like it here," Jere Sallinen tells the "Journal du Jura". "It is still too early to say more about it, but let's just say I'm fighting to get a new contract with the club."
Sallinen has been with EHC Biel since the 2021-22 season. This year, he has recorded eight goals and ten assists in 22 regular-season games for the Seelanders.
