The 31-year-old defenseman has agreed to a two-year contract, valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Jesse Zgraggen is already familiar with HC Ambrì-Piotta's organization as he used to play for them from 2014 until the end of the 2017-18 season.
Zgraggen started this past season with SC Bern but the contract was dissolved mid-December. He then finished the season with HC Ajoie, putting up three goals and two assists in 25 games.
