As Le Quotidien Jurassien reports (news relayed by "SwissHabs"), HC Ajoie's team manager Julien Vauclair wanted to extend with Jesse Zgraggen but seemingly the negotiation came to nothing as the 30-year-old will leave the club when his contract will run out at the end of the current season.
Instead, as the "Corriere del Ticino" writes, the defenseman will join HC Ambrì-Piotta on a two-year deal.
In 19 games with the Ajoulots this season, Zgraggen scored two goals and collected one assist, while in 15 games with SC Bern, he recorded one assist. In the Ajoie, he is the third most-used defender with an average of 19:18 minutes and is second for blocked shots per game with 2.21.
