The 28-year-old defenseman played his last game for Genève-Servette HC last night.
"It would have been too expensive to keep Honka," Marc Gautschi, team manager of Genève-Servette HC, told "Le Matin" Dimanche. Honka will thus return to the capital city for the remainder of the season.
Julius Honka has appeared in 22 games for SC Bern (three goals, seven assists) and 18 games for the Grenats (two goals, seven assists) this season.
