The defenseman, who was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks, played in over 800 NHL games throughout his career, suiting up for the Edmonton Oilers, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Washington Capitals, and the Seattle Kraken. Schultz' adventure in Lugano lasted only eight games, in which he recorded six assists.
