Ken Jäger returned to his home club this season after six years in Lausanne and two in Sweden and will lead the team onto the ice as captain. Jäger is the 30th captain in the history of HC Davos. Enzo Corvi, Sven Jung, Dominik Egli, and Lukas Frick will take on the roles of assistant captains, forming an entirely Swiss captaincy group.
Team manager Jan Alston sees in Jäger all the qualities that make him a perfect fit for captain in Davos: “Ken is the kind of player who gives his all for the team’s success. He’s a true professional, both on and off the ice, and leads by example. His dedication, down-to-earth attitude, and calm demeanor set him apart. These are exactly the values that HC Davos stands for."
Since his return to Switzerland from his stint in Sweden, Jäger has played in more than 300 National League games, reaching two playoff finals with Lausanne HC. Moreover, he wore the Swiss jersey 70 times, including appearances in the last three World Championships and in the 2026 Olympic Games.
