In the past weeks, the name of Théo Rochette has often circulated in the context of free agents at the end of the upcoming season. Now, the Swiss-Canadian forward has put an end to rumors about his future by signing a new five-year deal with Lausanne HC, valid until the end of the 2030-31 season.

The 23-year-old thinks that he can take a step further in Lausanne: "Continuing my career in Lausanne has always been a priority for me. Playing for this club and winning with them is clearly one of my main goals. I know I can still improve, and I want to give my best to reach new heights with this organization."

Since returning to Lausanne in 2023 after his adventure in the QMJHL, Rochette has been able to raise his game to the point where he became the top goal scorer in the last playoffs.
