Fabian Heldner joined Lausanne HC in 2019 from HC Davos. In his first season with the Lions, he recorded one goal and two assists in 48 games. On average, he was on the ice for 13:33 minutes, seventh among the Lausanne HC defensemen.
As for their 2020-21 roster, Lausanne HC will indeed start the training camp without Mark Barberio, as he is part of the Colorado Avalanche's 31-man roster for Phase 4 of the NHL's Return to Play. Barberio's signing has not been officially announced by LHC, but has been reported by 24 heures.
According to the same source, Cory Conacher and Brian Gibbons might be present at the training camp next week, provided "they manage to arrive in Switzerland in time." Dale Weise, who has reportedly also be in talks with LHC, will also finish the NHL season out with the Montreal Canadiens.
