Already having to deal with the departure of Andrea Glauser towards HC Fribourg-Gottéron next season, Lausanne HC might have to deal also with fellow defender Lukas Frick leaving them for HC Davos. There, Frick would find team manager Jan Alston, who was employed in the same role in Lausanne when Frick joined LHC in 2017.
Apparently, Frick wanted to move closer to home in North Eastern Switzerland. For the 29-year-old, HC Davos would be his third club in the National League, following a stint with EHC Kloten from 2012 to 2017 and then Lausanne HC.
Last season, Frick collected 19 points in 71 games. Rarely injured, Frick has always suited up in at least 48 regular-season games in his last ten seasons, including all 52 games in the last two championships.
