Leonardo Genoni to continue his career with EV Zug

"In the end, it was a simple decision: I feel in top shape, want to continue playing ice hockey at the highest level, and sense the confidence of the EVZ leadership that they want to continue to rely fully on me in the future," Leonardo Genoni said. 

The goaltender is one of the most decorated players in Swiss hockey, having won seven titles in the National League and four medals in World Championships. He is also only twelve games away from hitting the threshold of 1,000 National League games - he would be the first NL goaltender to reach that particular milestone.
