"We analyzed the whole of the last regular season and noticed that the area devoted to fans of opposing teams was full only three or four times", Daniel Villard, CEO of EHC Biel, tells the "Journal du Jura". "On the other hand, there is a strong demand for seating, which we will now be in a better position to meet thanks to these modifications."
The adjustments, which are currently being done, will mean that the standing area for visitors is reduced to 352 people (down from 500). It is not yet known how many seats can be added instead.
