After EV Zug, EHC Biel, and Lausanne HC, Michael Hügli will play for a fourth team in the National League. As of the 2026-27 season and until the end of the 2027-28 championship, Hügli will suit up for EHC Kloten. Back in 2022, Hügli had signed a five-year contract with Lausanne.

"Michael brings versatility to our offense and will help us progress with his excellent understanding of the game. His work ethic is exemplary, and he is in top physical condition," comments team manager Ricardo Schödler on the 30-year-old forward.

This season, Hügli scored one goal and collected three assists in 22 National League games for Lausanne HC. Additionally, in four Champions Hockey League games, Hügli put up an assist.
