On one side, eight imports are under contract, on the other side, reinforcements are very welcome - the ZSC Lions and EHC Kloten have found a way to help out each other and Pontus Åberg at the same time. The forward is moving from Zurich to Kloten for presumably the rest of the season.
The agreement includes an option from the Lions' side to have Åberg return to them by the beginning of March (the teams' press releases have different dates, either the first or the second) in case of injuries to other imports or similar reasons.
It is not Åberg's first stint in Kloten, the Swede already spent last spring there before joining Zurich in summer. Since then, the 32-year-old suited up 41 times for the Lions, recording seven goals and thirteen assists.
