Luca Cunti joined EHC Biel in 2019 on a two-year deal from HC Lugano. To not let his contract run out after this season, club and player have agreed to a four-year extension. This means the forward will stick around until at least 2025.

"It makes me proud to be a part of the EHCB for four more years. I am looking forward to eventful moments, sporting successes and full spectator stands", Cunti states.

"Luca has been playing at a consistently high level since his arrival in Biel. With his enthusiasm for the game, his work ethic and his will to improve, he is a fixture for EHC Biel. We are looking forward to seeing Luca in the EHC dress for another 4 years", team manager Martin Steinegger mentions.

In his two seasons since joining Biel, 31-year-old Cunti has made 72 games for the team, recording 18 goals and 36 assists. With his 24 points so far this term, he currently is the Seelanders's topscorer.
