The 27-year-old goaltender, who will return to Switzerland this autumn, has decided his future.

As Ludovic Waeber reveals in his column in "Le Matin" Dimanche, he and his agent have confirmed to the ZSC Lions that the goaltender will return to the organization for the 2024-25 season and will honour his contract.

There had been speculation regarding Waeber's future, especially since the ZSC Lions already have Šimon Hrubec under contract. His name had been brought up in connection with EHC Kloten, as the cantonal rival of the Lions is still looking for a goaltender for the upcoming season.

Waeber played 19 games in the AHL (Charlotte Checkers, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins) and one in the ECHL (Florida Everblades) this season.
