Another KHL player has arrived in the National League. HC Lugano will be able to count on the services of Curtis Valk for the remainder of the season. Previously a member of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, the forward should join the team in the coming few days and be available to the coaching staff during the Olympic break.
Before his time in the KHL, the 32-year-old Canadian played in the AHL and the ECHL. In 2018, he moved to Barys Astana and acquired Kazakh citizenship, which led to appearances on his new country's national team.
So far this season, Valk has recorded six goals and five assists in 30 games.
