Robin Salo returned to Europe this summer after a three-year stint in the New York Islanders' organization. He signed with the Malmö Redhawks until 2026, but his deal includes an out-clause for Switzerland. As "Expressen" writes, the Finn might very well make use of it, as there seems to be a lot of interest from the National League.
Throughout his career so far, the 26-year-old has played in his home country (Vaasan Sport, Hermes, SaiPa), the SHL (Örebro, and currently Malmö) as well as the NHL (NY Islanders), and the AHL (Bridgeport Islanders).
