Martin Steinegger not commenting on Laaksonen rumor

"I've heard about it but so far no enquiry from another club has been placed on my desk," Martin Steinegger, team manager of EHC Biel, tells the "Bieler Tagblatt".

After the report by "Expressen", Oskari Laaksonen denied the rumor to "NSD" on Wednesday: "Nothing has changed. I have a contract – which I respect – and my focus is here and now. You know how it is. Someone has probably seen that I haven't played in a couple of games and thought that I was on my way out of here."

However, the same newspaper heard yesterday that he is headed to Luleå on a multi-year contract if Biel agrees to let him go. Laaksonen's agent Sami Mettovaara and Luleå's assistant GM Ulf Engman were not willing to comment on the report.
