Matthias Rossi, who has signed a two-year contract with the SCL Tigers valid as of next season, joins the National League team already this season.
He will practice with the team on Monday and, if everything goes according to plan, will be eligible to play for the Tigers on January 24. Rossi thus leaves HC Fribourg-Gottéron after five seasons.
The SCL Tigers have also dissolved their contract with Jules Sturny. It is not yet clear where the 26-year-old forward will end up. Sturny has recorded three goals and three assists in 36 games.
