As anticipated by the "Luzerner Zeitung", the 31-year-old forward has signed a two-year contract extension, valid until the end of the 2027-28 season.

"I am comfortable in Zug and am happy I can remain part of the EVZ family," Mike Künzle said. "The goals in Zug are clear: we want to win the championship - and I want to contribute to it."
Mike Künzle joined EV Zug in 2024 and is thus currently in his second season with the Bulls. This season, he has recorded six goals and five assists in 19 games.
